After fighting a courageous battle with cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Evelyn Marie (Sundt) Carr went to stay with her Lord on March 27, 2020. Evelyn was born to Melvin and Dorothy (Singleton) Sundt on Sept. 4, 1944, in Kalispell.

Born March 30, 1951 to Florence(Cis) and Ronald Nelson, she would later be adopted by Elroy Herrmann and became a child of a blended family of eight. She attended Whitefish Public Schools and graduated high school in 1970. She then attended cosmetology school in Spokane, Wash.
