Loggers take down Chiefs in Ronan

Although the Libby High School football team beat the Ronan Chiefs 47-0, coach Neil Fuller wasn't satisfied with the way the team executed their plays.

"We were a little flat," Fuller said. "It was a rugged game for us."

This win brings The Loggers' in conference record to 4-0 and 7-1 overall.

Jeremy Chumley scored the first touchdown in the first quarter with a 26 yard run (Fuller run).

Joel Fuller also made a 64 yard pass to Zach Rowan (Rowan kick).

Rowan scored again with a 34 yard run (Rowan kick), and Fuller scored with a 2 yard run (Rowan kick failed).

In the third quarter, Rowan scored on an 80 yard kick-off return (Rowan run failed).

Chumley scored on a 75 yard run (Fuller pass failed). Chumley scored again to end the Libby tally at 47 with a 39 yard run (Rowan kick).

Libby rushed for 241 yards, with Chumley leading at 150. Rowan averaged 39 yards per 2 carries. Ronan rushed 109.

Fuller fumbled once, while Ronan fumbled 3 times.

The Libby Loggers play Bigfork this Saturday in Libby at 1 p.m.
