Home-schooled
Sometimes the young won’t wait. That was the case last week when this “mother moose” and her calf found themselves in downtown Libby just after sunrise near St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mom was getting ready to lead her calf across the street when junior could no longer wait for breakfast. The mature calf had to kneel down to get to mom, and it’s expected within a few weeks the calf will be on its own.
