Thomas Bitterman 69, of Troy

Thomas G. Bitterman, 69, of Libby,

passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at his home in Libby.

He was born in Libby on May 7, 1942, to

Albert and Naomi Bitterman. He was raised and educated in

Libby.

He married Dolores Wise in 1962 and had

resided in Libby most of his life where he raised his family. He

was preceded in death by his parents; and also by his wife,

Dolores, in 2002.

Tom was a member of Carpenter’s Union

Local 2225 since 1969. He was a millwright, mechanic, and master of

all trades.

He enjoyed gardening around his house

and being in the outdoors.

He enjoyed having dinner with Dave and

Helen at the Senior Center.

He also enjoyed going to yard sales and

listening to live bands with his companion of five years, Lonna

Cady.

Survivors include his sons, Dwain

Bitterman of Glasgow, Mont., and Dean Bitterman of Hamilton, Mont.;

two grandchildren Katelyn and Beth Bitterman; his sister, Pegge

McDaniel, of Yacolt, Wash.

He was loved by many and will be

greatly missed by family and friends.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the City of Libby Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m

Friday and until noon Saturday at the Schnackenberg & Nelson

Funeral Home.

Following the service, there will be a

reception at the Senior Citizens Center.
