It has been determined individuals who were separated due to the importation of foreign goods on or after the impact date and before the expiration date, may be eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance (also referred to as TAA, which includes retraining, job search and relocation benefits), Trade Readjustment Assistance benefits (also referred to as TRA, which provides for unemployment type benefits for participants of the TAA program) and Reemployment Trade Adjustment Assistance, also referred to as RTAA. PUBLIC NOTICE PETITION TO ESTABLISH AND ALTER A COUNTY ROAD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held in the office of the Lincoln County Commissioners at 512 California Avenue, Libby, Montana, at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 for the purpose of hearing the question of a PETITION TO ESTABLISH AND ALTER A COUNTY ROAD described as follows: That portion of 5th Street, a public road, within S2T30NR31W, beginning at a point approximately 420' southwest of the current railroad crossing of 5th Street, which is the northeast corner of Lot 1 of 5th Street Subdivision, and continuing northeasterly to the intersection with the county road easement within S35N31NR31W. More precise legal is pending final survey. Purpose and Intent: The petitioners hereby petition the county to accept the described portion of 5th Street as a county road. Once it is declared a county road, portions of it can then be exchanged for easements over other private properties, enabling the road alteration (relocation) project to continue. NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The Smoke-Brulee Timber Sale is located within Section 16, T27N-R29W, on the State's Libby Unit. Approximately 21,652 tons, consisting primarily Douglas-fir sawlogs, are of¬fered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on August 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Management Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $10,501.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract and Timber Sale Bond. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. If the successful bidder is unable to execute the contract within 30 calendar days from the date the sale is awarded, the bid deposit will be retained by the Department as liquidated damages. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
