Harold 'Hal' Cole
Harold “Hal” Cole, 94, passed away on Dec. 21, 2017 at Libby Care Center with his loving wife, Anita, of 49 years at his side. He was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming on Nov. 2, 1923, the second son of Benjamin H. “Happy” and Ida A. Cole. He attended school in Thermopolis until he enlisted in the U. S. Army Air Corps in 1943 and served with distinction in the European Theater of operations as an airborne radio operator and gunner in the B-24 Liberator.
Russell G. Christopherson
Russell G. Christopherson, 86, of Libby, passed away May 13, 2018 at the Libby Care Center. Russ was born May 29, 1931 in Poplar, Montana, to Andrew and Joanna (Hoem) Christopherson. He grew up and attended school in Riverside Community and Vida, Montana.

Dean Bradford Leckrone
Dean Bradford Leckrone, 69, of Libby died on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at his home in Libby. He was born on April 11, 1948 at Libby to Glen and Helen (Gompf) Leckrone. He attended Libby public schools and was part of the 1966 State Basketball Championship. In 1965, he was a member of the football team that won the state conference. He attended Carrol College on a scholarship and in Missoula played baseball.
Walter Zollars Jr
Walter “Bud” Clay Zollars, Jr., passed away Dec. 19, 2014, from mesothelioma, at his home in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., with his wife of 63 years, Mary Jane (Vick) and his youngest son at his side. A private memorial will take place Thursday, August 20, at 10 a.m. at the Methodist Church with internment and military honors taking place after the service at the Libby Cemetery.
