Libby Loggers Greenchain wrestling team competed in the Superior Tournament on Saturday, taking first place. The tournament was comprised of 12 teams — six of the 15 total Greenchain wrestlers were champs. Libby claimed first place with 189.5 points; Frenchtown 158.5 points; St. Ignatius/Charlo 142.5 points, and Eureka 114 points. The Greenchains will duel the Columbia Falls Wildcats at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Richard H. Tholen, 90
Our dad, our hero, Richard H. Tholen, 90, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2020 at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby. He was born June 3, 1930 at Virginia, Minnesota to Hugo “Pappy” and Emily “Ma” Tholen. He graduated from high school in 1948.

William R. (Bill) Rowberry
Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and grandfather, William R. (Bill) Rowberry, 67, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Bill was born Oct. 17, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Monte and Patricia Rowberry. He graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1965. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He received an honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1970.
