Independent Order of Oddfellows thanks Libby

On May 13, 2017, the Independent Order of Oddfellows Cabinet Lodge No. 68, Libby, Montana, held its annual German Dinner fundraiser. Thanks to the generous donations from numerous local businesses, this was our best and most entertaining fundraiser. All donated items were given away as door prizes. We want to identify these businesses and look forward to our fundraiser next year.

PUBLIC NOTICE PETITION TO ESTABLISH AND ALTER A COUNTY ROAD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held in the office of the Lincoln County Commissioners at 512 California Avenue, Libby, Montana, at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 for the purpose of hearing the question of a PETITION TO ESTABLISH AND ALTER A COUNTY ROAD described as follows: That portion of 5th Street, a public road, within S2T30NR31W, beginning at a point approximately 420' southwest of the current railroad crossing of 5th Street, which is the northeast corner of Lot 1 of 5th Street Subdivision, and continuing northeasterly to the intersection with the county road easement within S35N31NR31W. More precise legal is pending final survey. Purpose and Intent: The petitioners hereby petition the county to accept the described portion of 5th Street as a county road. Once it is declared a county road, portions of it can then be exchanged for easements over other private properties, enabling the road alteration (relocation) project to continue. With sadness, the family of Raymond Frank Dedic announces his passing on Dec. 20, 2018, in Libby, Montana, at the age of 88 years. Ray was born Oct. 25, 1930, to parents Agnes and William Dedic in Libby. Upon his graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Army, where he served in the Korean War. His time in the Army earned him a United Nations Service Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, an Army Occupation WWII Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. After serving a term in the Army, dad’s desire to travel the world led him to join the Navy.
