Michael Dean Rogers, 58, of Libby passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1959 in Escondido, California to Ellery and Betty (Barrick) Rogers.

The district is responsible for keeping records for up to eight years after a student graduates or leaves the district. Records will only be released to individuals whose names are on the file or their parents. All other records older than 10 years will be destroyed on July 1, 2019. Myrtle Hunter Patterson, 98, of Ronan
Myrtle Edith “Toots” Hunter Patterson, 98, beloved mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away of natural causes on June 24, 2014, at St. Luke’s Extended Care Facility in Ronan. The youngest of seven children, she was born to Scottish immigrants John D. and Mary Matheson Hunter in Peabody Township; near Souris, N.D., on April 8, 1916. She was nicknamed “Toots” by her father.
Little Guy wrestling results from qualifier
On Saturday, Libby hosted the Little Guy Intervalley Wrestling tournament. The event is a qualifier for the Western Montana tournament to be held in Hamilton on March 28. Libby took home first-place hardware for mid-size teams in the tournament, building a good head of steam as they head to Hamilton next weekend.

Duane B. Hagadone, a private but devoted family man and an icon of publishing, real estate and hospitality, died Saturday at his winter home in Palm Desert at the age of 88.

Roland C. “Rolly” Childs, 94, a resident of the Kootenai Valley for the past 68 years, died Nov. 9 at his home in Libby. A longtime employee of the J. Neils Lumber Company and later, with the St. Regis Company, he remained there until his retirement in 1984.

James Charles Parker, 62
James (Jim) Charles Parker, a resident of Libby, unexpectedly passed away June 26, 2021, at the age of 62. He was born Jan. 30, 1959, in Missoula to Don and Teri (Larson) Parker. He was one of three children.
