This is Ryggs' 2nd State Championship. When he was 11yrs old he won State, Regionals, and got 2nd at Nationals. ÊRyggs is 1 of the 17 contestants from Montana who have finished in the top 3 at Nationals. ÊThis is the 42nd Annual Hoop Shoot Contest. He is the only one from Libby that has qualified for Regionals twice. Ê *his year in Montana, over 4,000 kids began their quest for a national title and after the State Hoop Shoot that has been reduced to 6. *Now 288 State Champions will compete in 12 different cities across the country at Regionals for a chance to win a trip to the National Finals.
