A report of a speeding car traveling east toward Libby on Highway 2 ended in a single fatality after the car struck a traffic light pole at the intersection with Idaho Avenue on Thursday.

In the event that all defaults are cured the foreclosure will be dismissed and the foreclosure sale will be canceled. The scheduled Trustee's Sale may be postponed by public proclamation up to 15 days for any reason. In the event of a bankruptcy filing, the sale may be postponed by the Trustee for up to 120 days by public proclamation at least every 30 days. If the Trustee is unable to convey title for any reason, the successful bidder's sole and exclusive remedy shall be the return of monies paid to the Successor Trustee and the successful bidder shall have no further recourse. PUBLIC NOTICE The City Council of the City of Libby has completed the preliminary municipal budget for fiscal year 2018-19. A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday September 4,2018 for all interested citizens of the City of Libby. The Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:00 pm, to hear any residents for or against any part of the budget before it is finalized. The proposed budget and resolutions levying a special assessments to defray the cost of street maintenance and lighting, has been placed on file and may be examined on weekdays in the office of the City of Libby at 952 E.
