Diane Erickson

Diane Erickson, 66, Minot, North Dakota, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2022, of natural causes at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Diane was born at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho, on June 14, 1956 to Donald and Janie (Davis) Erickson, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Johnson, of Libby, Montana, and brothers, Mark of Juneau, Alaska and David of Danville, California.

Diane graduated from Libby Senior High School in 1974 and earned a teaching degree from Eastern Montana University in Billings, Montana. She taught special education in Troy, Montana, and Blackfoot, Idaho.

Diane loved watching "The Price is Right" and her soap operas. Like her father, she loved her milk shakes and pizza. Diane always enjoyed visits from family and friends. She had a strong faith in the Lord and in 1972 she went with a group to Explo 72, a campus crusade for Christ in Dallas, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022 at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot. The service will be live-streamed for the public to view and can be accessed by going to https://bit.ly/3qXP5Jo.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children as she spent quite a bit of her childhood at one in Spokane, Washington.
