All Bands Pop Concert 2017
Libby High School presented an all-bands pop concert 7 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017. It featured performances by the sixth, seventh- and eighth-grade bands — including the middle school jazz band — and the high school jazz and concert bands. Highlights included “Hit the Road, Jack,” “Banana Boat Song,” and a tribute to Michael Jackson.

Megaload travels through Libby
A megaload has made its way into northwest Montana as part of a long trek to Great Falls to join with other equipment for a tar sands project. The megaload is one of three pieces of a “hydrocracker,” a piece of refinery equipment used to process Canadian oil sands. The load travels at night and recently stopped outside of Libby.
