NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The Clay Banks Timber Sale is located within Sections 14 and 24, T30N-R31W on the State's Libby Unit. Approximately 22,479 tons, consisting of mixed conifer sawlogs, are offered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on July 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Management Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a de¬posit of $21,490.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Notice of Public Hearing Recommended Zoning Changes Tues. February 18, 2020, 6pm Council Chambers-City Hall The City of Libby Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 6:00 PM at the Council Chambers - City Hall. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning the recommended zoning changes to the City of Libby's zoning district entitled Main Business District. At the public hearing, the Zoning Commission will present its proposed changes which includes the creation of two new commercial districts, the Downtown Business District and Highway Commercial District; and changes to the text and map, including increasing the Business-Residential District area. A history of the process, the basis for the changes and a summary of the changes will be included in the presentation. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed changes. Copies of the proposed changes to the text and map are available at City Hall (952 E. James K. Taylor, 89, of Libby

James K. Taylor III was born in San Diego, Calif., on April 17, 1922. He laid down his rod and creel and turned in his hammer and saw when he passed on June 27, 2011, in Kalispell, Montana after suffering a stroke.
