Crews from the Libby Volunteer Fire Department battled a house fire on Idaho Avenue for about two hours Saturday afternoon. According to Second Assistant Fire Chief Ryan Andreessen, they were called out shortly after noon. He said the fire began on the second story and caused extensive damage. The people who lived in the residence were outside when crews arrived and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. (Scott Shindledecker/The Western News)
