First responders work to extract a passenger from a car that crashed at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Mahoney Road on May 5. Libby Police Chief Scott Kessel said responders took the injured passenger to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. The driver of the red PT Cruiser was cited for failure to yield right of way. Responders with Libby Volunteer Ambulance, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Libby Volunteer Fire Department reported to the scene.
