Interim forest supervisor on track to sell timber, setting groundwork for successor
Kootenai National Forests’s temporary forest supervisor is on track to sell roughly 78 million board feet of timber this season, with plans to salvage burnt timber from last year’s fires, but mostly, to get back to cutting green trees.
