The fourth annual Kootenai Forest Fair will be held Saturday at Riverfront Park in Libby.
It begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
Hosted by the Kootenai Forest Stakeholders Collaborative and friends, this free event is all about connection, conversation and a bright future for our public lands in Lincoln County.
Those attending will be able to chat with local loggers, forest rangers and wildlife biologists, meet recreation advocates, learn what’s new in the Kootenai National Forest and snap a selfie with Smokey the Bear.
They can also enjoy a free beer from Cabinet Mountain Brewing, enter to win cool prizes. There will be fun and kid-friendly activities. Jay Snow and the Tone Keepers will also be performing live.
In addition, the Libby chapter of the Society of American Foresters will attend. The chapter is celebrating its 70th anniversary as SAF celebrates its 125-year anniversary.
