Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Breitenstein

Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Breitenstein, 68, of Libby left this world peacefully on Aug. 21, 2025.

She was born April 27, 1957, in Libby, Montana to Kennith and Edith Breitenstein. Betty spent most of her childhood growing up in the South Fork of the Yaak.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kennith and Edith Breitenstein, and a brother, Kenny.

Betty is survived by her husband, Brad Young of Libby, son Brian Jetton of Libby and a daughter, Mandy Butler and her husband, Matt of Tioga, North Dakota.

A celebration of life will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at the picnic area behind the Legion baseball field in Libby. Please bring a folding chair and your own refreshments.
