KPAX affected by heat in Missoula

Due to issues beyond its control, the Libby Video Club wanted to let its customers why the KPAX channels (the 8s) are currently unstable.

"The TV Mountain site in Missoula where KPAX broadcasts from is experiencing severe heat in their building," Club secretary Terry Peck said. "They had to reduce their power to 65% which isn’t enough to provide us with a stable feed. They are working to get some air conditioning there, but that will take a while. Things will remain like this until the temperature cools off, or they get the AC on."

Peck thanked their customers for their patience and support.

Montana Constitution Roadshow comes to Troy

Friday, Sept. 5, Upper Seven Law will present the Montana Constitution Roadshow at the Troy Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Upper Seven Law is a nonprofit public interest law firm whose mission is to hold the powerful accountable.

“Because it is so important to make information about the constitution and our system of laws available to everyone—and because we have a really good time talking about it, we’re launching the Montana Constitution Roadshow to have great conversations with Montanans about our foundation of government,” said Rylee Sommers-Flanagan, Upper Seven’s Founder and Executive Director.

The Roadshow is an engaging and informative presentation about the foundations of a representative democracy, the rule of law and the ways in which the Montana Constitution is special and distinct. It includes exciting and timely topics like government transparency and separation of powers, and offers a peek into interesting stories about how Montana came to have one of the newest and most unusual constitutions in the country.
