Troy High School hosting annual art show May 20

Connoisseurs of art won't want to miss the annual art show at Troy Junior Senior High School next week.
The show will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school gym. The show is sponsored and run by the THS art club and this year will include creative student works from many sources, not just the art and pottery classes. There is no cost for admission, but there will be numerous items for sale.
This year’s show features:
- Senior shows! Christina Hammer and Bella O’Day will showcase works from their entire school career;
- Junior high and high school art classes, photography class and several other classes with creative student products will be displaying their work;
- Pottery, woodshop, metals, forging and carpentry projects will be shown and sold;
- The carpentry class will be selling two 8-foot by 10-foot sheds via silent auction. Bids are accepted during the two hours of the art show only!
