Tana Parsons
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, and wife, Tana Parsons, who passed away Oct. 17, 2024 at the very young age of 57.
She was born and raised in Oregon, and in her teens she started traveling around the west coast like a tumbleweed in the wind. She eventually found her way to a small town in Montana called Libby. She met and married the love of her life, Chris. She was a devoted wife and mother to three children, and three step children.
Tana lived a fulfilling life and was a beautiful woman of many talents. She had a passion for the unknown and loved playing her violin. She also loved playing in her garden every summer which was always something new in growth. She loved walks in the woods, going to the waterfalls, fishing, boating and just a good overlook on the mountain top watching the skies.
Tana was a gentle soul, putting others before herself. Her compassion extended to all that knew her and she will be remembered and missed immensely by all in her community, church and by family.
She had a smile that could light up the room and a laugh that was contagious.
Tana will be loved and missed by her siblings Beverly, Dana and Janice, who were her best friends and sisters she was most close with and her parents Don and Betty.
Tana is survived by her husband Chris; her three children: Tawnya, Brandi and Bobby; and three stepchildren: Rebecca, Tyler and Ceara. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Tanika, Malakai, Hayleigh, Aries, Tristan, Taylor and Myles who will miss her dearly.
Rest in Peace, Tana. You will forever be in our hearts and memories and for every hummingbird that flies, we know you are with us and watching over us. We love you, and in your words, BOOP BOOP!!
To my wife, you will be missed but you will always be with me forever - Chris.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 226 Bennie Lane in Libby.
