A Libby man who pleaded guilty to a felony count of assault with a weapon received a 6-year deferred sentence Monday in Lincoln County District Court.

Ronald James Toczek, 59, was first charged after allegedly pointing a pistol at the head of a woman and her eight-month-old baby at a Vicks Lane residence on Jan. 22.

Toczek was initially held in the Lincoln County Detention Center before posting $75,000 bail. At a March 10 court appearance, he pleaded guilty. Toczek received credit for 23 days in the county jail.
