Scott, Anderson shine at U.S. Junior Nationals
Two of Libby’s own, Reed Scott and Colter Anderson, made waves at the U.S. Junior Nationals in Soldier Hollow, Utah, a venue with a rich Olympic history as the site of both the 2002 and upcoming 2034 Winter Games.
The event gathered the nation’s top 450 cross-country skiers, all of whom had earned their spot by qualifying through their respective divisions.
Scott and Anderson proved they belonged among the country’s best, delivering standout performances throughout the competition. Scott raced to an impressive sixth-place finish in the individual classic event, while Anderson battled his way to 11th in the fiercely contested skate sprint. These results are a testament to their of training with Libby’s Kootenai Nordic Club.
