James Harold McNulty
James Harold McNulty, 83, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at his home in Libby.
Jim was born Oct. 14, 1941, in Glasgow, Montana, to George and Bernice (Wentzel) McNulty. They moved to Troy in 1952 with eight kids and mom and dad in a 1941 Buick, hauling a little trailer behind with all their belongings. Jim went to school in Troy until 1957, when he went to Nashua, Montana, to work for his uncle, Don McNulty.
Jim came back to Troy and married Pat Pattie in 1961. They had three children: Steve, Wade and Greg. Wade passed away in 1966. Jim went to work for St. Regis in 1961 and worked there for five years. He would say “he got out on good behavior.” Jim then started logging for Burrell Bros. He worked for 41 years driving logging trucks. Jim retired in 2006 to care for Pat, who passed away in 2007.
He married Bobbi (Wickham) McNulty in February 2009. Together, they did a lot of traveling and saw a lot of different states with Ellen and Jumbo.
