Folks headed to Troy for Timberbeast or the smoked ribs at Watson’s Market can help Fran and Katie’s Giving Tree Christmas Toy Drive.

The event began Thursday and runs through Saturday. New toys, socks and books, the desired items, can be dropped in the dump truck parked at Watson’s from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

The Giving Tree has worked in the Troy community for a number of years to make sure everyone has a Merry Christmas.

For those who can’t attend the toy drive, go to their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=3440466552761171&set=gm.3073244422834923&idorvanity=1975967232562653. Scan the QR code and make a donation.

Also, for those interested in buying for children this fall, ask a Giving Tree member for more information.
