Jon Andrew Kyriss

Jon Andrew Kyriss, 61, was born March 13, 1963, in Libby, Montana and raised in Troy, Montana. He passed Aug. 10, 2024.

Jon moved to Nevada in 1989 where he met his wife, Jo Ann, of 36 years. 

He is survived by his wife Jo Ann and three children Nicholas (Amber) Kyriss, Devin (Jessica) Kyriss and Rebecca Kyriss (Jake) all of Elko/Springcreek, Nevada. Also, four grandchildren Andrew Arthur Kyriss, Cash Nicholas Kyriss, Olivia Ann Kyriss and Sophie Kyriss all of Elko/Springcreek, Nevada. 

He is also survived by his mother: JoAnne Kyriss (Siefke), brothers; David (Terrie) Kyriss of Troy, Montana, Mike (Emma) Kyriss of Salt Lake City, James Kyriss of Libby, Montana, and Jesse Kyriss of Libby, Montana. 

Nieces and nephews; Jeff (Stephanie) Franke of Troy, Montana, Clayton (Keeli) Kyriss of Troy, Montana, Christopher Faulker of Libby, Montana, Zachary Carter, Adam Kyriss, and Samantha Kyriss of Salt Lake City.

He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Kyriss and grandson Jon Thomas Kyriss.

A celebration of life will be held at 600 Lake Creek Road, Troy, Montana, 59935, at the David Kyriss residence, from noon to four p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2025. The family asks that you please bring your own chair and choice of beverage to toast Jon one last time. Sandwiches and snacks will be provided.
