The Town Pump Charitable Foundation has awarded three grants totaling $45,000 to Lincoln County Senior Citizen Centers.

These grants were part of the Thriving Generations grant program offered by the foundation.

“Senior Citizen Centers are a vital part of every Montana community and one of the most widely used services among Montana’s older adults,” said foundation director Bill McGladdery. “These on-time grants could be used for repairs and maintenance, programming costs, equipment replacement, food programs and other services determined by the local board of directors.”

The foundation awarded 58 grants totaling $503,600 statewide.

Organizations receiving grants in Lincoln County included:

- Tobacco Valley Senior Citizens Association - $10,000 for building repairs.

- Libby Senior Center - $10,000 for equipment for Meals on Wheels.

- Kootenai Senior Citizens, Inc. - $25,000 for roof replacement.

The Town Pump Charitable Foundation was founded in 1999 with the mission of providing financial support to charitable non-profit organizations with a priority on meeting the basic needs of Montana citizens and increasing educational opportunities for Montana students.
