Horses uninjured in U.S. 2 traffic crash

Three horses in a trailer were not injured following a traffic accident Friday, May 30, 2025, on U.S. 2 south of Libby. A U-Haul truck collided with a Chevy 3500 pickup hauling the horse trailer which was headed south. There was at least one injury reported. Montana Highway Patrol, Libby Volunteer Ambulance and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded along with two tow trucks. (Scott Shindledecker/The Western News)
