Is This Who We Are?

| June 6, 2025 7:00 AM

Yagana is a native of Nigeria who was a farmer until Boko Haram militants took over her village and she had to run away.

She found a place to shelter where a group funded by the United States Agency for International Development took care of those freeing repression.

But the Trump administration cut funds for the USAID and now no food is available. Yagana lost three triplets to starvation.

She gave birth to twins but one has died because there is no food. She is very worried about her surviving child.

It doesn't cost much to keep babies alive. But when there is no money to buy food the children die.

These children are dying while millionaires in the United States are receiving tax deductions and will have even more money than they have now.

Children die so the rich can play.
