Man officials accused of dealing fentanyl locally gets prison time
A man Lincoln County authorities believe was dealing fentanyl in Libby is headed to a state correctional facility following sentencing June 30 on a drug possession charge.
James Taft Watts, 30, appeared in Lincoln County District Court April 14 and pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of possession of dangerous drugs and one misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia.
Watts agreed to a plea deal May 19 in which he accepted responsibility for a drug possession charge in exchange for the dismissal of two other counts.
