Big or small, Libby VFD answers the call
Libby Volunteer Fire Department's Steve Scheer dowses a hot spot where a small fire began Wednesday, July 9, 2025, on Pioneer Road after strong winds blew a dead tree branch on to a transformer, creating the spark. First Assistant Fire Chief Scott Beagle got to the scene first and stomped out the fire. A Kooteani National Forest crew and Flathead Electric also responded.
