A deputy answered a call in the 34200 block of Libby about loud music keeping the reporting party awake at night.
A detective investigated a report of an elderly person being scammed while living on Lake Creek Road, Troy.
A deputy assisted a Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks warden with a hunter in a closed area at U.S. 93 North and Burma Road, Eureka.
A caller complained about a shoplifter in the 500 block of U.S. 93 North, Eureka.
A threat was investigated by a deputy in the 1700 block of Rocky Draw Road, Troy.
Two officers performed a welfare check on a potentially suicidal man in the 42200 block of U.S. 2, Libby.
Multiple first responders were at the scene of a traffic crash in the 66000 block of U.S. 2 in the Fisher River area. There were no reported injuries.
Dec. 18
Two officers responded to the 1600 block of Swede Mountain Road for a dispute between a moving company and the customer.
A traffic crash involving injuries at mile marker 10 on U.S. 2, Troy, brought several first responders to the scene.
A citizen in Eureka sought help in dealing with an automobile trade in which he did not get the correct title for a vehicle.

Two officers answered a call about a controlled substance problem on Dewey Avenue in Eureka.
A traffic crash with injuries in the 4100 block of Highway 37, Libby, was answered by several first responders.
Billy Stafford was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 800 block of Homestead Drive, Rexford.
A county deputy handled a call about barking dogs in the 700 block of Sheldon Flats Road, Libby.
More barking dogs were reported in the 37900 block of U.S. 2, Libby. A deputy responded.
The theft of a gun from a residence in the 3100 block of Glen Lake Road, Eureka, was investigated by a deputy.

Another traffic stop three hours later on U.S. 93 led to a citation for driving without liability insurance and a warning for driving without a headlight.

Multiple traffic stops for drivers in Eureka without functioning headlights resulted in warnings for speeding, no proof of insurance and no driver’s license.
Dec. 23
Two deputies reported to a residence in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue East, Eureka, for a report of a man assaulting his girlfriend’s granddaughter.
Dec. 24
The Eureka Volunteer Ambulance Service and other first responders were at a residence on Independence Way in Eureka for a man who was choking.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Purdy Drive in Eureka following a report of a man dancing in the street.
Dec. 26
A deputy contacted a person who was staying overnight at the Historic Village in Eureka. The citizen was warned about a city ordinance.
