Raymond Lee Countryman, 69, passed away on Dec. 27, 2024, in Libby, Montana.

Born on May 6, 1955, Raymond spent his life immersed in the natural beauty of Montana, a place he deeply cherished.

Raymond dedicated many years to the logging industry, a career that not only defined his professional life but also deepened his connection to the forests around him. His work as a logger was not just a job; it was a testament to his strength and his profound respect for nature.

In his leisure time, Raymond was an avid reader and an enthusiastic outdoorsman. He found solace and joy in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to further bond with the environment he loved so dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Countryman and sister, Connie Countryman.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and the wild landscapes he helped to preserve. A celebration of life service will be held in spring 2025 to honor Raymond’s memory and legacy.
