A 22-pound, 9-ounce lake trout was plenty big enough to make Libby's Jeff Bache a winner at last weekend's the Lodge at McGregor Lake Ice Fishing Derby.

The brute beat out the second-place fish - a 16-pound, 3.4-ounce mac - caught by Seth Maxey. Hayden Wood was third in the adult division with a 11-pound, 2.6-ounce laker and Ryker McElmurry was fourth with an 8-pound, 5.3-ounce fish.

In the kids’ division for macs, Liam Sunell was first with a 3-pound, 6.7-ounce fish, closely followed by Cole Sunell’s 3-pound, 3.9-ounce laker. Quinton Hale was third, Reina Wolfe was fourth, Gage Steward was fifth and Olivia Vasquez was sixth.

For rainbow trout, Branden Bailey won the adult division with a 5-pound, 1.2-ounce fish. Royce Schlegel was second with a 4-pound, 15-ounce ‘bow and Dave Mead was third with a 3-pound, 6.8-ounce fish.

In the kids’ division, Bridger Moe stood on top with his 3-pound, 11.9-ounce rainbow trout.
