Regina “Gina” Louise Edgar

Regina “Gina” Louise Edgar, age 77, of Ryderwood, Washington passed away on Aug. 4, 2025, surrounded by family.

Gina was born on Nov. 8, 1947, in Kalispell, Montana to Ernest and Regina Davis (Brown). Gina graduated from Libby Senior High School in 1965 and then attended the Columbus School of Nursing in Great Falls, Montana where she met her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Edgar. 

Jerry and Gina were married on Jan. 24, 1968. Gina was known for her love of her husband, her children and grandkids and great-grandkids. Gina lived the aloha spirit. 

She worked as a registered nurse for over 50 years in rural hospitals, including St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby and Malama I Ke Ola Health Center, the community health center on Maui where Jerry and Gina lived for more than 20 years. They relocated to Washington state in 2017 to be closer to their family.

Gina is survived by her husband Jerry, son David Edgar (Kim), daughter Bridgett Edgar (Larry), daughter Michelle Munro (Ross) and daughter Robyn Kilponen (Greg), nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, sister Barb Messick and brother Bruce Davis (Carnan), and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Phillip Davis, and sister Rhea Norvell.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at the Libby Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow in the Ponderosa Room.
