Clinic set for new high school football officials

The Flathead Valley Football Officials Association will have a clinic for new football officials Saturday, Aug. 9 in Kalispell.

The clinic is geared for new officials, and the four-hour clinic offers new officials a solid introduction to football officiating.

The clinic is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Legends Field in Kalispell. The clinic features a classroom session and on-field training. Local high school teams will provide players for the clinic so that officials can practice actual on-field mechanics, although the players will not play in full contact. 

Kalispell-area football officials and the Montana Officials Association are sponsoring the clinic.
