American Legion pancake breakfast part of Igniter's weekend
The American Legion Auxiliary Austin Reedy Post #97 is hosting its annual Huckleberry Pancake breakfast next weekend and everyone is invited.
The annual event coincides with the Ignite the Nites car show in downtown Libby, set for Aug. 14-16.
The annual fundraiser helps support the American Legion Auxiliary’s mission of supporting the American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
This year’s breakfast will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 16, at the American Legion located at 319 California Street. Enjoy huckleberry or plain pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, juice and coffee.
Adults eat for $10, 12-and-under for $5 and 5-and-under are free.
While you are checking out the car show, plan to stop by for breakfast and support the American Legion Auxiliary’s critical mission here in the community for the past 105 years.
