The city of Libby will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 18, 2025, during the 7:00 pm City Council Meeting in the council chambers of city hall for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for replacement of the First and Montana Sewer Lift Station. At the public hearing the proposed project will be explained including the purpose and project area, activities, budget and possible sources of funding. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding the proposed project.   Comments may be made orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before August 15th at 4:30 pm. Anyone who would like more information or who wants to submit questions or comments should contact City Administrator Samuel Sikes at (406) 293-2731, email city.admin@cityoflibby.com, or stop by city hall at 952 E. Spruces St. in Libby.
