Authorities have largely wrapped up three cases involving a Lincoln County quartet accused of kidnapping and assault in a violent incident earlier this year.

Sean Raymond Waldron, 33, pleaded guilty July 14 to aggravated kidnapping in Lincoln County District Court. His sentencing date is set for Oct. 6.

Waldron’s attorney, James Clarke Murnion, sought the removal of a GPS unit the defendant has wore since April 3 after he posted $50,000 bail. Defendants ordered to wear GPS units are typically made to pay a fee while they are in use.
