Troy baseball falls to Bigfork
The Troy Trojans continue to search for their first win of the season after falling 13-3 to Bigfork on Thursday in a road matchup marked by big innings by the Vikings.
Bigfork broke a scoreless tie with a five-run third inning and added two more runs in the fourth, three in the fifth, and sealed the game with another three-run frame in the sixth, ending the contest early via the 10-run rule.
Troy, now 0-5 on the year, managed to get on the board in the fourth and fifth innings. Cooper Carsley drove in a run and the Trojans got an RBI from Gunnar Fisher and Tommy Guinard in the fifth to bring the Trojans within striking distance at 8-3.
