Yaak Wings benefit returns to support Lincoln Co. cancer patients
The highly anticipated Yaak Wings Benefit is back, bringing the community together for an incredible cause.
This year’s event, generously sponsored by The Yaak River Tavern and Mercantile, promises a full day of fundraising, food, and fun — all to support Lincoln County residents battling cancer.
It will be held Saturday, May 3, and entrance is free.
The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with a silent auction. Dinner begins 4:30 p.m. and features a soft taco bar with beans and ice cream for dessert. A $15 donation includes dinner and dessert, while dessert-only is a $6 donation.
The live auction begins at 7 p.m.
For the wine and alcohol pull, a $15 donation per pull. 50/50 raffle tickets are $1 each.
The event will take place under tents, ensuring the festivities continue rain, shine, snow or grapple.
A Community Effort for a Vital Cause
Organized by dedicated local Yaak residents, the event is powered by over 50 volunteers who work tirelessly to make it happen. Thanks to the generosity of donors and sponsors, 100% of the money raised goes directly to Wings Regional Cancer Support, covering essential expenses like transportation, lodging and meals for cancer patients.
Last year, the event raised just over $50,000, contributing to more than $132,000 in grants for 102 Lincoln County residents. Combined with the Yaak Wings Walk, over $150,000 is raised annually in the Yaak for Wings.
The Yaak Wings Walk will take place this fall—stay updated by following their Facebook page at Yaak Wings Walkers.
