Libby, Troy track and field perform well at Bigfork Invite
Athletes from Libby and Troy high schools turned in impressive performances at the Bigfork Invitational track and field meet on Saturday, April 5, with several personal records and podium finishes highlighting the day for both programs.
For Libby, sophomore Cody Watson continued his stellar distance season with a third-place finish in the 1,600 meters (4:45.47 PR) and a strong second-place showing in the 3,200 meters, clocking in at 10:33.56 for a season best. Watson’s efforts helped Libby secure valuable points in the boys’ standings.
In the mid-distance events, sophomore Colter Anderson also contributed with an 11th-place finish in the 800 meters (2:19.64 season best), while sophomore Bridger Moe posted a personal best of 20.49 in the 110-meter hurdles.
