2025 wild horse kick-off adoption event in Hamilton

HAMILTON, Mont. — The Bureau of Land Management Montana/Dakotas is excited to launch its 2025 Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Event series with the Montana Kick-Off Adoption Event, May 2-4, 2025, at the Hamilton, Montana Training Facility.
This event provides the public with the opportunity to adopt 37 wild horses, including yearlings, 2-5-year-old mares, and geldings.
Prospective adopters will have the chance to view the animals, participate in a silent auction and take part in a special “First Touch” training clinic led by the renowned mustang trainer, Mustang Matt.
