Kathryn “Kaye” Marie (Struck) Fulcher
Kathryn “Kaye” Marie (Struck) Fulcher went to meet our Heavenly Father on July 24, 2024.
Kathryn was born to Truman and Jean Struck on July 8, 1945, in Columbia, South Carolina, where Truman was stationed in the military. She was the oldest of six children. The family moved from South Carolina where Kaye attended school in Kremlin, Montana.
Kaye would meet Woodrow Michael Fulcher in Havre, Montana, where he was stationed in the Air Force, and she was attending the Northern Montana College to obtain her LPN degree. After she obtained her degree she moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida, where Kathryn married Woodrow on May 30, 1945, and gave birth to two sons, Jeffrey Scott Fulcher and Robert Michael Fulcher.
In 1979, Woodrow and Kathryn divorced. Kaye went back to college in St. Petersburg, Florida, and obtained her RN license in 1985. In 1986, she moved back to Montana and worked at the Libby Care Center for many years. She eventually went to being a traveling nurse.
She eventually moved to Kalispell where she worked at Immanual Lutheran Home and then into home health. Until she retired in 2020, Kaye enjoyed doing many hobbies which included crocheting many afghans, scarves and many, many other items.
She enjoyed going to church and spending time doing crafts in thimble club.
Kaye is preceded in death by her parents Truman and Jean Struck, aunts and uncles, nephews Sam, Jason and Sean, and brother-in-law J.W. (Bill) Robbins.
Kaye is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Scott Fulcher and wife Millie, Robert Michael Fulcher and fiancé Jodi. She is also survived by her siblings Barb Robbins, Bill Struck and wife Trish, Jan Erickson and husband Tom Fred, Marjorie Clairmont and husband Rod, and Tom Struck and wife Marla; nine nieces and nephews along with numerous great nieces and nephews. Also, there are six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life is set for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Please come join us celerate her life. Then a graveside service will be held in Libby, Montana for the immediate family only.
