Brenda Lee Ellis

On Sept. 3, 2024, Brenda Lee Ellis, 61, gained her wings and went to be with our Lord. 

She was born on May 31, 1963, in Everette, Washington to Raymond (Lee) Dilley and Alice J. Harris. In 1980, she was blessed with Perry Harris as a father. 

In 1979, she married Ashley Carr, they had two beautiful daughters before divorcing. Ashley and his current wife, Kitty, and brother Mark Carr played a great role in the last days of Brenda’s life, the family can’t express the gratitude enough. 

Brenda attended Troy and Libby schools. She later moved to Marion, Montana for many years and before returning to Libby she lived in Kalispell, Montana. 

In 1988, she married Fredrick (Clint) Ellis and had two amazing children. 

Brenda is survived by parents Perry and Alice Harris, siblings Sherri Wahl (Damon), David Dilley, Machelle Brossman (Randy), Angela Wolfe, Edward Decker (Tera), her children Pepper Carr (Manny), Deana Carr, Jacob Ellis and son in law Mark Montana, grandchildren Shey Olin (Jaden) Xander Lesker, Ashton Lesker, Ella Wilson, Eliana Wilson, Scarlett Ledbetter and Zeb Ellis, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Preceded her in death, husband Fredrick (Clint) Ellis,  father Lee Dilley,  brother Raymond Dilley, daughter Melissa Ellis. 

Brenda was a free spirited and selfless person. Her intelligence and laughter will be missed by all that knew and loved her. 

A memorial will be May 30-June 2, 2025, during a campout over her birthday. The location is set for Horseshoe Lake, updates posted on Facebook. 

Final arrangements were done at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral, Libby, Montana.
