Clash of the Carvers International Chainsaw Carving Competition

Twenty of the world's best chainsaw carvers competed in last weekend's Kootenai Country Montana Clash of the Carvers International Chainsaw Carving Championship.

Dennis Beach won People's Choice and first place at the event with a carving of a moose paddling a canoe full of bear cubs. The carving earned him $7,000 in the auction.

Chris Wood's carving placed second and earned him $6,500.

Zoe Dussia's carving of two foxes placed third and earned her $6,700.

Taylor White's carving of an owl family placed fourth and earned $3,800.

Mark Colp's carving of an eagle grabbing a fish placed fifth and earned him $4,500.
