Cindy Austin

Cindy Austin, born Aug. 18, 1963, in Rexford, Montana, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024.

Cindy’s early years were marked by a unique blend of adventures as her family moved frequently between Rexford and Oregon. 

Cindy was a loving wife to her husband, Rocky Austin, and a devoted mother to her children, Kate Peterson and Riley Jaynes.

She was cherished by her father, Dan Murray, and leaves behind a large, loving family including siblings Lance Murray, Kathy Betts, Larry Murray, Cheryl McDonald, Todd Murray, Shane Curtis and Jocobi Curtis.

Not named are many stepchildren, grand children, cousins and close family friends that became family along the way.

Cindy’s warmth, kindness and unwavering spirit touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and remembered with love and fondness by her family and friends.

All are welcome to a celebration of life at 3 p.m. Sept. 14 at Fireman’s Park.
