Libby celebrates Homecoming with week of festivities

A week full of fun activities culminated in the crowning of the 2024 Libby Homecoming King and Queen Friday at halftime of the football game and the dance Saturday night at the high school.

Seniors Alderic Martineau and Cash Vaughn were named King and Queen.

Leading up to the event was Spirit Week when students dressed up, including nerds and jocks, beach or ski trip, country vs. country club, dressing for a favored holiday and blue and gold day Friday before the pep rally and football game against Columbia Falls.

Thursday night saw the annual parade, bonfire and logging events.

The weekend also the boys soccer team qualify for the state tournament for the first time since 2015 and the girls volleyball team winning its first varsity match of the season, beating Browning, 25-13, 25-15 and 25-15. The junior varsity and freshman teams also beat Browning.
