Catching up with Troy Chamber of Commerce

| October 8, 2024 7:00 AM

Greetings Chamber Members:

I hope everyone enjoyed a fantastic summer, full of the rest and relaxation you all deserved. Unfortunately, summer is coming to a close, which means it’s time to refocus on business!

Please find below a list of items each business should review and confirm that everything is current.

If you discover anything that’s missing, kindly respond to this email and we will address any concerns swiftly.

Here’s what you need to know:

Chamber business plaques: I would like to verify that everyone has received their plaque and that the years shown on them are up to date.

Chamber’s website: I invite you to check the website to confirm that your logo and the information provided are correct and your membership is up to date.

AI training for small businesses: We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for AI training at a chamber training site, available for free to our members. Don't miss out on this chance to enhance your skills! Join us for an online seminar at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23. Call now to secure your spot at 406-295-1064.

Small Business Season: The Small Business season for October is the Pumpkin Passport. November will be the Pumpkin Pie Passport and December will be the Peppermint Passport. November and December will be Shop Local and Win like Last year. Don’t miss this opportunity to get involved! Call now to participate at 406-295-1064.

Zoe Zane Creations: We are partnering with Zoe Zane Creations to create an online video for the City of Troy and its local businesses. If you would like her to produce a video for your business, please contact her at zoezanecreations@gmail.com.

E&C Consulting: We are currently in talks with E&C, a company that creates town pamphlets showcasing local businesses, events, and tourist attractions.

The New Stage for the "Rockin' in Roosevelt Summertime Concert Series" made its debut on Sept. 20. We will be preparing the setup and hosting a movie night at Roosevelt Park to introduce the new Truss Stage to the community.

Events, Specials, or Information: We invite members to check out the Chamber’s website to share any Events, Specials, or Information you want the community to be aware of.

To do this, navigate to "Members Post" located at the top right of Troy's Chamber page. Click on “Members Post,” select “Members Post Only,” and then click on “Click Here.” You can upload your files and leave a message. Please allow one day for your information to be visible on the Chamber’s site for all to see

Troy’s Chamber is set to enhance its business application for easier tracking of membership status and related information. To streamline our accounting process, all members will need to pay for their membership at the start of the year. Memberships paid later in 2024 will be adjusted accordingly.

Our aim is to keep everyone updated on all matters related to Troy while nurturing a cohesive community where everyone can succeed.

If you have any questions about the points I've just discussed, please don't hesitate to reach out via email at mike@troymtchamber.org or call me at 503-680-8468 or chamber 406-295-1064.
